Our Founder
Dean Lucas founded Deano’s Grill over twenty five years ago. Being born in Athens, Greece and raised in Seattle he always had a special love for Mediterranean food. He found a love for cooking Greek food by volunteering at his church’s Greek Festival in Seattle. After that he was hooked! On his way to achieving his dream of owning a Greek Restaurant (The Giggling Greek) he successfully ran a cafe and several coffee shops. Meanwhile, he also continued down the carnie path and worked hard to become one of the biggest names in the Seattle foodie festival circuit. Sadly, Dean passed away in January of 2021.
Like Father Like Daughter
Holly Lucas, Dean’s youngest daughter, has been in the shadows of the family’s businesses since before she can remember. At the age of 16 she started to take on more responsibility and eventually became the business manager. The last few years of Dean’s life he dedicated his time teaching Holly and her husband Aric the ropes of the business. Holly and Aric have proudly continued the Deano’s legacy since his passing.
